This policy explains what information the Hardwise app (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. Hardwise is developed and published by Doğukan Kamçı, an individual developer, who is the data controller for the information described here.

1. What we collect
The only information that leaves your device because of us concerns purchases.
Subscriptions and purchases
Payments are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or receive your payment card or billing details.
To check whether you have Pro and unlock its features, the app uses Adapty. Adapty receives your App Store transactions and purchase status, a random user identifier that the app generates when it is first opened, basic device information (model, iOS version, app version, language and region) and your IP address. Adapty also records which purchase screen you saw, so we can understand which offers work.
Crash reports from Apple
The app does not include a crash-reporting service. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. This is controlled by Apple and by your setting, not by the app.
2. What stays on your device
Hardwise tests your device’s hardware. Each permission is asked for only when a test needs it, and every reading is used on the spot.
Camera. The camera, focus and depth tests show a live picture and measure it. Nothing is photographed, recorded, stored or sent.
Microphone. The sound meter and the microphone tests listen live. Short test recordings, used to let you hear each microphone, stay on the device and are deleted straight after.
Location. The GPS test shows your position and accuracy on screen. It is never saved or sent.
Motion and barometer. Sensor readings are shown live and never leave the device.
Bluetooth. The app scans for nearby devices only to confirm the radio works. It never connects to them, and their names are not stored.
Face ID and Touch ID. Checked through Apple’s own system. The app only learns whether recognition succeeded; it never sees face or fingerprint data.
NFC. The NFC test only detects that a card or tag is present. It does not read card numbers or any other content.
Photos. If you choose to save a score card, the app adds that one image to your library. It cannot see your other photos.
Reminders. Checkup reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not run a push notification server.
Results, reports and the buyer’s checklist. Test results, saved checkups, trends and the checklist (battery health, cycle count and yes/no answers) are stored only on your device. The checklist never stores your IMEI or serial number. A PDF report or score card leaves the device only when you share it yourself.
3. Network tests
The Wi-Fi and mobile data tests measure your connection, so they contact servers on the internet:
a connection-time check to www.apple.com, and
a download speed test from speed.cloudflare.com, operated by Cloudflare.
Like any web request, these servers see your IP address. The app sends them no information about you or your device, and the results are kept only on your device.
4. No tracking
Hardwise does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, has no analytics or advertising SDK, does not show ads and does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
These providers may process information on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
6. Why we may use it (legal bases)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Türkiye or another place with similar laws, we rely on:
Performing our agreement with you to provide the app and the purchase you made (purchase data).
Our legitimate interests in understanding which purchase offers work, which we keep minimal and not linked to your identity.
7. How long we keep it
Purchase data: for as long as needed to provide Pro and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Everything on your device stays until you delete it in the app (Settings → Clear test history) or delete the app.
8. Your choices and rights
Turn any permission (camera, microphone, location, Bluetooth, notifications) off at any time in iOS Settings → Hardwise. Tests that need it will simply ask again.
Delete your results and saved checkups in the app, or delete the app to remove everything, including the random purchase identifier.
Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at the address below. Because we do not collect your name or email, we may need your help to identify the data that belongs to you (for example, the date of your purchase). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
9. Children
Hardwise is a general utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app.

Bizim nedenimizle cihazınızdan çıkan tek bilgi satın almalarla ilgilidir.
Abonelikler ve satın almalar
Ödemeler tamamen Apple tarafından, Apple Hesabınız üzerinden yürütülür. Kart veya fatura bilgilerinizi asla görmeyiz ve almayız.
Pro’ya sahip olup olmadığınızı kontrol etmek ve özelliklerini açmak için uygulama Adapty’yi kullanır. Adapty; App Store işlemlerinizi ve satın alma durumunuzu, uygulamanın ilk açılışta ürettiği rastgele bir kullanıcı kimliğini, temel cihaz bilgilerini (model, iOS sürümü, uygulama sürümü, dil ve bölge) ve IP adresinizi alır. Adapty ayrıca hangi teklifin işe yaradığını anlayabilmemiz için hangi satın alma ekranını gördüğünüzü kaydeder.
Apple’dan gelen çökme raporları
Uygulamada bir çökme raporlama hizmeti yoktur. iOS Ayarları’nda analiz verilerini uygulama geliştiricileriyle paylaşmayı seçtiyseniz, Apple bize anonim çökme raporları ve kullanım istatistikleri gönderebilir. Bu, uygulama tarafından değil Apple ve sizin ayarınız tarafından yönetilir.
2. Cihazınızda kalanlar
Hardwise cihazınızın donanımını test eder. Her izin yalnızca bir test ihtiyaç duyduğunda istenir ve her ölçüm anında kullanılır.
Kamera. Kamera, odak ve derinlik testleri canlı görüntü gösterip onu ölçer. Hiçbir şey fotoğraflanmaz, kaydedilmez, saklanmaz veya gönderilmez.
Mikrofon. Ses ölçer ve mikrofon testleri anlık dinler. Her mikrofonu dinleyebilmeniz için alınan kısa test kayıtları cihazda kalır ve hemen ardından silinir.
Konum. GPS testi konumunuzu ve doğruluğunu ekranda gösterir. Asla kaydedilmez veya gönderilmez.
Hareket ve barometre. Sensör değerleri anlık gösterilir ve cihazdan çıkmaz.
Bluetooth. Uygulama yakındaki cihazları yalnızca radyonun çalıştığını doğrulamak için tarar. Onlara asla bağlanmaz ve adlarını saklamaz.
Face ID ve Touch ID. Apple’ın kendi sistemi üzerinden kontrol edilir. Uygulama yalnızca tanımanın başarılı olup olmadığını öğrenir; yüz veya parmak izi verisini asla görmez.
NFC. NFC testi yalnızca bir kartın veya etiketin varlığını algılar. Kart numarasını veya başka bir içeriği okumaz.
Fotoğraflar. Bir puan kartını kaydetmeyi seçerseniz uygulama yalnızca o görüntüyü arşivinize ekler. Diğer fotoğraflarınızı göremez.
Hatırlatıcılar. Tarama hatırlatıcıları cihazınızda planlanan yerel bildirimlerdir. Bir anlık bildirim sunucusu işletmiyoruz.
Sonuçlar, raporlar ve alıcı kontrol listesi. Test sonuçları, kaydedilen taramalar, eğilimler ve kontrol listesi (pil sağlığı, döngü sayısı ve evet/hayır yanıtları) yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır. Kontrol listesi IMEI veya seri numaranızı asla saklamaz. PDF rapor veya puan kartı yalnızca siz paylaştığınızda cihazdan çıkar.
3. Ağ testleri
Wi-Fi ve hücresel veri testleri bağlantınızı ölçtüğü için internetteki sunuculara bağlanır:

Cloudflare tarafından işletilen speed.cloudflare.com üzerinden bir indirme hızı testi.
Her web isteğinde olduğu gibi bu sunucular IP adresinizi görür. Uygulama onlara sizinle veya cihazınızla ilgili hiçbir bilgi göndermez; sonuçlar yalnızca cihazınızda tutulur.
4. Takip yok
Hardwise sizi diğer şirketlerin uygulamaları veya web siteleri arasında takip etmez. Reklam kimliğini (IDFA) kullanmaz, Uygulama Takip Şeffaflığı izin penceresini göstermez, analitik veya reklam SDK’sı içermez, reklam göstermez ve kişisel bilgilerinizi kimseye satmaz veya kiralamaz.
Bu sağlayıcılar bilgileri, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri dahil olmak üzere ülkeniz dışındaki sunucularda işleyebilir. Gerektiğinde bu aktarımlar Avrupa Komisyonu’nun Standart Sözleşme Hükümleri gibi güvencelerle korunur. Kanunun gerektirmesi hâlinde bilgileri ayrıca açıklayabiliriz.
6. Hukuki sebepler
Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı, Birleşik Krallık, Türkiye veya benzer kanunların geçerli olduğu bir yerdeyseniz şu hukuki sebeplere dayanırız:
Sizinle yaptığımız sözleşmenin ifası: uygulamayı ve satın aldığınız ürünü sağlamak (satın alma verileri).
Meşru menfaatimiz: hangi satın alma tekliflerinin işe yaradığını anlamak; bunu asgari düzeyde ve kimliğinizle ilişkilendirmeden yaparız.
7. Saklama süreleri
Satın alma verileri: Pro’yu sağlamak ve yasal, vergi ve muhasebe yükümlülüklerini yerine getirmek için gerektiği süre boyunca.
Cihazınızdaki her şey, siz uygulamada silene (Ayarlar → Test geçmişini temizle) veya uygulamayı silene kadar kalır.
8. Seçenekleriniz ve haklarınız
Herhangi bir izni (kamera, mikrofon, konum, Bluetooth, bildirimler) istediğiniz zaman iOS Ayarlar → Hardwise bölümünden kapatabilirsiniz. Ona ihtiyaç duyan testler yeniden izin ister.
Sonuçlarınızı ve kayıtlı taramalarınızı uygulamadan silebilir ya da rastgele satın alma kimliği dahil her şeyi kaldırmak için uygulamayı silebilirsiniz.
Yaşadığınız yere bağlı olarak kişisel verilerinize erişme, onları düzelttirme veya sildirme, işlenmesine itiraz etme veya kısıtlama, veri taşınabilirliği ve rızanızı geri çekme haklarınız olabilir. Talepte bulunmak için aşağıdaki adresten bize ulaşın. Adınızı veya e-postanızı toplamadığımız için size ait verileri belirlemede yardımınıza ihtiyaç duyabiliriz (örneğin satın alma tarihiniz). Ayrıca yerel veri koruma otoritenize şikâyette bulunma hakkınız vardır; Türkiye’de bu, Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu’dur (KVKK).
9. Çocuklar
Hardwise genel amaçlı bir araçtır ve 13 yaşından (veya ülkenizdeki asgari yaştan) küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir. Çocuklardan bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamayız. Bir çocuğun bize kişisel bilgi verdiğini düşünüyorsanız lütfen bize ulaşın, silelim.
10. Değişiklikler ve iletişim
Bu politikayı değiştirirsek sayfanın üstündeki tarihi güncelleriz; önemli değişiklikleri uygulama içinde de bildiririz.
